Rural Academy for Management Studies (RAMS) was established in 2010 with its premises located in close proximity to the popular and most sought-after tourist destination – Cherai Beach, Kochi one of the longest natural beaches in Asia.
RAMS B-School is a welcome offshoot of the great banking heritage of Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank and primary co-operative societies coupled with the interest of well-wishers in education field. Ever since the inception and its affiliation to MG university, the institution has been undertaking path-breaking initiatives in the field of management education with the introduction of innovative and modern pedagogy, insistence on academic discipline, imparting of holistic education practices with the support of a visionary management and dedicated staff. Offering a two-year, full time post graduate programme in Business Administration (MBA), it has produced several professionals in business management as well as entrepreneurship who have been achievers in their respective fields and happily serving humanity. The college endeavours are primarily driven by enduring interest of our key stakeholders consisting of students, recruiters and society. The calm and serene campus environment contributes to a more positive and learning experience for the future business leaders, and can have favourable effects on their mental as well as physical health.
Having students from different parts of Kerala, the pedagogy, fees & scholarship schemes, campus amenities, college timings, etc. are diligently designed such that students from rural areas are benefitted to the fullest. The medium term objectives of RAMS B-School include launching of research as well as business incubation centres.
